Alaska Energy Authority Seeks New Executive DirectorBoard of Directors Announces Search
(Anchorage) - The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) Board of Directors is seeking a new Executive Director. The successful candidate will serve as the chief executive officer responsible for leading all business and operations of the Alaska Energy Authority, a public corporation of the state whose mission is to reduce the cost of energy in Alaska.
"Alaska's energy challenges are unique among the fifty states," said AEA Board Chairman John Winther. "The AEA Executive Director must be an exceptional, experienced, forward-thinking, big-picture executive with the right technical knowledge together with a substantial record of proven leadership in business development and public policy. Our new Executive Director must also have significant management experience and the demonstrated ability to lead and inspire."
