Public comment sought on Health Care Commission’s draft strategic plan
Monday's hearing allows Alaskans to contribute to the state's long-term approach to health care
(Anchorage, AK) - A public hearing about the Alaska Health Care Commission's recently released strategic plan will take place Monday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alaska Legislative Information offices statewide. Residents can also participate via teleconference.
The commission's first draft of the report touches on everything from workforce development to the role of the consumer in health care. The recommendations focus on reducing costs and increasing accessibility to health care for all Alaskans.
