Open Seats for Mat-Su/Copper Basin Area Citizens Advisory Board
Members of the public interested in advising Alaska State Park managers on issues relating to state parks in the Mat-Su and Copper River Basin area are invited to apply for membership to the Mat-Su State Park Citizens’ Advisory Board. Specific state park units in this management are Denali State Park, Nancy Lake State Recreation Area, Willow Creek State Recreation Area, Big Lake North and South State Recreation Sites, Kepler-Bradley State Recreation Area, Hatcher Pass/Independence Mine State Historical Park and numerous other state recreation sites. Presently, extra consideration is being given to management plans for Nancy Lake State Recreation Area, Hatcher Pass Management Area, and the Denali State Park Trail Plan. There are currently several openings on the thirteen member volunteer board.

- reasons for wanting to serve,
- qualifications and availability,
- recreational interests.
Deadline for applying is Sunday, January 3, 2010.
