Governor Parnell Visits Ketchikan on Southeast TripDecember 1, 2009, Ketchikan, Alaska - During a multi-purpose trip in Southeast Alaska today, Governor Sean Parnell held a meeting with his Cabinet, spoke to the Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce, and met with community leaders and other constituents, including students.
Later this evening, the governor will attend the delivery ceremony for the Chevron Legacy, a steel marine vessel manufactured for export to Canada. The ceremony will be held at the Ketchikan Shipyard.
On Wednesday, Governor Parnell will travel to Wrangell and Petersburg, where he will meet with community leaders and visit students at the Wrangell and Petersburg high schools.
