AARP Presents Free Webinar December 15 “Green Jobs: What They Are and How to Find Them”

ANCHORAGE, AK -- To assist workers 45+ with finding a job, AARP’s Education and Outreach (E&O) Department in Washington, D.C. will host a sixty-minute webinar for job seekers 45+ on the topic of green jobs. “Green Jobs: What They Are and How to Find Them” will be presented on Tuesday, December 15 from 10 – 11 a.m. Alaska Time.
This webinar, featuring Jim Cassio, green jobs career consultant and author, will provide mature job seekers with information, tools, and resources to:
- Understand what green jobs are
- Know what industries and occupations have the most growth potential
- Discover green jobs education and training opportunities
Webinar participants will receive a free copy of Cassio’s “Green Careers Resource Guide” to help them succeed with their green jobs employment search.
This webinar is free and open to the public. It is a live, online event in which participants “attend” via computer. Individuals can register at www.aarp.org/realrelief. Registrants will get instructions on how to join the webinar for the scheduled date and time. Registrants must have a computer with audio capability (internal or external speakers) and Internet access.
