| Description |
What happens when singer/storyteller Shirley Mae Springer Staten and artist/illustrator Dianne Barske get together on a project? The result is The Oh-ee-O Story, the tale of Shirley Mae’s early family life on a former Southern plantation. Hot off the press, this children’s book is first in a series about the characters she grew up with. At the monthly luncheon for Alaska Professional Communicators, both women will share stories of their collaboration, including the wild tale of chasing grandmothers through Town Square as Dianne searched for models to draw from. Public welcome. |
