Vicky Dunlap is New President of Ahtna Subsidiary ASTS

Anchorage, Alaska – Ahtna, Incorporated is pleased to announce that Vicky Dunlap is the new President of subsidiary company Ahtna Support and Training Services, LLC (ASTS).

Vicky is a long-time Ahtna employee, having been with the Ahtna family of companies since 2006 when she was first hired by Ahtna Development Corporation. In 2008, she became the Vice President of Business Administration for ASTS, a position she held until March of this year when she was asked to be Interim President.

Upon accepting the offer to become President of ASTS, Vicky said, “I am very excited about the future of ASTS and the Ahtna family of companies. I believe that there is much we can achieve together and I look forward to contributing not only to the growth and continued success of ASTS but of Ahtna and our shareholders as a whole.”

Vicky is married to Cyrus Dunlap and they share 4 sons and 2 grandchildren. She likes to cook, travel, and spend time with her family.

Ahtna, Incorporated is one of 13 Alaska Native Regional Corporations formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971, and is based out of Glennallen, Alaska. The company currently has more than 1,800 shareholders, the majority of whom are of Ahtna Athabascan descent, and employs more than 1,700 workers worldwide. Ahtna Netiye’, Incorporated is the business holding company for Ahtna, Incorporated. Netiye’ is an Ahtna Athabascan word that means “our strength.” Ahtna Netiye’ manages and oversees the business operations of Ahtna’s subsidiaries, providing strategic direction and corporate structure stability aimed at long-term growth and success.

ASTS is a wholly-owned Ahtna subsidiary that is headquartered in Anchorage. Its core businesses are simulations operations and maintenance; management of training aids, devices and associated facilities; training range operations, instrumentation and maintenance; training data collection and processing; and facilities operations and maintenance. It was first formed in 2005 and received its 8(a) certification in 2007.
