Tom Garret, PE Joins R&M's Anchorage Office
R&M Consultants, Inc. (R&M) is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Garrett, PE to our Anchorage office team.
Tom joined R&M’s Surface Transportation Group as a Senior Project Engineer in June 2014. He has 15 years of experience in civil engineering design in Alaska, and has spent the last 13 years as a Civil and Transportation Engineer. As a Senior Project Engineer, he has been responsible for publishing Design Study Reports, construction plans, engineering cost estimates and project specifications. He has worked on site development, road reconstruction and resurfacing, grading and drainage plans, retaining wall design, and utility main extension projects. Tom’s project experience includes the Victor Road Reconstruction, 5th and 6th Avenue Paving, L Street to Ingra, and Muldoon Road Landscaping and Pedestrian Improvements Phases I, II and III. Since joining R&M, he has been working primarily on the Fairview Loop Road Resurfacing project.
Tom has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is a professional civil engineer registered in Alaska.
