H&M to Open First Alaska Store in Dimond Center

Family-owned shopping center invests to bring big changes to Anchorage

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Dimond Center, Alaska’s largest shopping center, is pleased to announce the addition of H&M, the Swedish international clothing retailer, in 2015. H&M will join an existing strong retail mix and represents Dimond Center’s investment in bringing quality retailers to Alaska.

“This is an exciting expansion for the Dimond Center, and we’re happy to welcome H&M,” said Hugh Ashlock, Leasing Manager. “For nearly 40 years, we’ve been building a family-oriented community and investing in Alaska to create jobs and boost commerce. H&M is a cornerstone of our current remodeling.”

The new H&M will consist of two stories and 31,000 square feet with an energy-efficient glass and panel façade. The store will be located in the southeast tower of the building, and all current tenants will be relocated within the shopping center.
