GeoNorth Expands With New Developor Staff Additions

Anchorage, Alaska GeoNorth (www.geonorth.com), one of the nation's premier Information Technology custom application solutions providers, has just announced the hiring of several new key personnel as additions to their staff of on and off site application developers.  

Robert Davidson, MSGIST and Sr. GIS Project Manager, brings to GeoNorth over 18 years of experience providing comprehensive geospatial-intelligence solutions and intelligence analysis to all levels of military and civilian decision makers; from platoon commanders to the President of the United States.  In addition, Mr. Davidson is an effective project manager with extensive experience in managing geospatial-intelligence projects from initiation to closeout.  Mr. Davidson has developed policy for hyperspectral imagery sensor integration with unmanned aerial vehicles for the US Army; supported the Secretary of Homeland Security while at the Homeland Security National Operations Center; served as a master instructor at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency where he taught advanced geospatial-intelligence; and has taught for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).  Mr. Davidson has a MS in Geographic Information Science and Technology from the University of Southern California Los Angeles, and a Master’s Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Denver. 

 Mr. Brandon Martinez recently accepted a position with GeoNorth as a Web Application Developer.  Mr. Martinez has an extensive background applying the Drupal technology of Content Management Systems to client solutions, which GeoNorth uses primarily on all of their web design and development applications.  Mr. Martinez has been instrumental on a host of web application deployments for clients throughout Alaska and California.  

 Mr. Gary Todd also recently hired in with GeoNorth as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst.  Mr. Todd has a solid 20 year history of developing iOS, iPad, and Android mobile applications, and .NET, Oracle, and SQL solutions for a host of commercial clients located throughout America’s Midwestern, Southeastern, and Western states.
