First Ever Dog Days of Summer Block Party in Downtown Anchorage Provides a Way to Celebrate Man’s Best Friend While Raising Money for the Anchorage Animal Care and Control Center

August 15, 2013 (Anchorage, Alaska) - Don’t miss out on this fun filled day in Downtown Anchorage with a block party celebrating one of man (and woman’s) best friend, dogs, at the first annual Dog Days of Summer Block Party!

On August 17th, we will be closing 7th Avenue between D & E Streets in Downtown Anchorage from 11am – 4pm to have fun in the sun with our favorite furry, canine friends!

Event-goers can enjoy a stupid pet tricks contest, canine-related products & service exhibits, pet photo-ops, rescue organizations demonstrations, demos and more! Orion Donicht will be our MC handing out prizes and showcasing fun things to do with your dog all day!

We can’t wait to see you and your pup at the Dog Days of Summer Block Party on August 17th from 11am – 4pm on 7th Avenue in Downtown Anchorage.
