ANC Master Plan Update Working Group Meeting #7
(Anchorage, Alaska) -- Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is in the process of a Master Plan Update, which will help guide future airport development. The seventh meeting of the Master Plan Update Working Group is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 2013, from 11a.m. to 1p.m. The meeting will be held in the first floor conference room of the CIRI Building, 2525 C Street, Anchorage, AK 99503.
At the meeting, ANC will share the results of the alternatives evaluation, as well as the draft plan for ensuring the Airport’s ability to meet long-term aviation needs. Comments on the draft plan will be used to assist the planning team in finalizing the plan in November 2013. The Master Plan Update will be finalized at the end of 2013 and will identify trigger points that would establish the need for future airport development.
The public is welcome to observe the meeting, and if time allows, provide comments at the end of the meeting. A public open house will also be held on these topics September 12, 2013. For more information visit www.ancmasterplan.com.
The Working Group is a body of neighborhood, community, recreational, environmental, and business interest groups, and is one of many tools that will be used to gather public input throughout the Master Plan Update.
