Senator Begich Launches "Growing Alaska" Tour
U.S. Sen. Mark Begich and his staff will head out across Alaska this month, meeting with Alaskans, visiting small businesses, and getting ideas for new job growth in communities from Point Lay to Kodiak. Begich’s “Growing Alaska” tour is designed to gather information and talk to Alaskans about the progress and innovation happening all across the state.
“We know there are a number of incredible projects and small business success stories all over Alaska,” Begich said. “I’m looking forward to getting out as much as I can this month, but also sending my staff to nearly 60 communities to get first-hand reports and gather information for how we can continue to serve this great state.”
Sen. Begich’s staff will also set up Mobile Office hours in a number of communities to hear from Alaskans during the month of August.
