Google Hosts Free Seminar to Help Alaska Businesses Get Online
August 30, 2012 - On August 30th, Google will kick-off the statewide event for the Alaska Get Your Business Online www.AlaskaGetOnline.com program at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center starting at at 8:30 am.
Hundreds of small businesses are expected to attend the launch of Alaska Get Your Business Online which is an easy and fast way for Alaska businesses to get a website and get more visible online where the majority of people are going to find goods and services. Google is partnering with Intuit to provide its popular Intuit Websites offerings for free, including an easy-to-build website, a customized domain name and web-hosting for one year.
For the next year, participating Alaska businesses can go to www.AlaskaGetOnline.com to get a free website as well as free tools, training and resources to help their business succeed online.
Local businesses will be available to discuss the benefits of this program with the media.
