Flag Status Notification - Honoring Neil Armstrong

President Obama has ordered U.S. flags to be lowered on Friday, August 31, 2012 until sunset in memory of Neil Armstrong. State flags must also be lowered in accordance with the order. A copy of the White House proclamation is available here:
