ChadCarpenter's New Tundra Book 'Out On A Limb' Released

Howdy Folks,Chad

As you probably know, the Latest Tundra Book: Out on a Limb has arrived at long last. And like the previous books, it has nearly 400 full-color comic strips. Some of them are even funny too!

I will be at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer for the next 12 days and I have plenty of copies of Out on a Limb with me. Zack (the Tundra Flunky) will also have signed copies at the Weekend Markets in Anchorage.

They are not on the web site yet, but we will put them up on the Tundra Store when I get back from the fair.

I will have copies of our Fundraiser-books (Wet Wild & Weird and Nothing But Snowmen) with me the fair in case anyone has an up-coming fundraiser too.

Please stop by to say hi if you get a chance. Thanks to all of you who read my last newsletter and brought me bacon at the Tanana Valley State Fair. Since I'm one slice of bacon short of a coronary now, I should probably ask for broccoli this time. Not as fun as bacon, but probably better for me. Broccoli & bacon maybe? Hmmm...

With warmest wishes,

Tundra T-shirts

We have a new company making Tundra t-shirts and coffee mugs these days. The cool thing with these shirts is you can choose your shirt color and there are several styles to choose from, including women's shirts, regular sweat shirts and hoodie sweat shirts. Check it out here: www.tundracomics.spreadshirt.com.

For the next week, enter BROCCOLI (all caps) in the Coupon Box at check-out to get 15% off your order.

Funnies Extra Logo

With several Funnies Extra! editions up and running now across the United States and Canada, I thought I would mention this again in case any Tundra fans are looking for work.

That being said, this is not a job. These are localized 16 page, stand-alone humor newspapers with 40+ comics (including Tundra), eight puzzles and a humor column; and each person operates their edition as their own business. There are no up-front fees to get started and this requires little to no start-up capital either.

There are lots of territories still available, including some that were taken before, so contact Bill if you think you might be interested in publishing your own community humor newspaper. He can be reached at 907-441-6882 or bill@tundracomics.com. No experience is necessary either. They have all of the details worked out already.

There is a sample paper and more information on the Funnies Extra! web site too at www.funnies-extra.com.
