Alaska Quake Host Speed and Agility Basketball Camp
Students grade 3rd through 8th!
Anchorage, Alaska – On August 11th -12th and 17th-18th 2012 the Alaska Quake will put on a 2-day or 4 day basketball camp for athletes in grades 3rd through 8th. The camp will consist of drills and coaching on speed and agility and basketball specific fundamentals. Members of the Alaska Quake Basketball team and staff will conduct this camp.
Areas of focus will include form running, explosion, footwork, core strength, and lateral movement. Drills from NBA camps and college programs will used to teach passing, rebounding, blocking, ball handling, dribbling, and shooting. Participants will each receive a t-shirt and have the opportunity to play with Alaska Quake players.
The registration fee for the two day camp is $75 and registration fee for the four day camp is $135.
