Taylor Highway Convoys Scheduled for Friday, August 6 Canceled

Due to heavy rain along the Taylor Highway the convoys scheduled for Friday, August 6 are canceled.  Two convoys were planned; one departing at 8 a.m., from Eagle to Taylor Highway milepost 97, and one departing at 1 p.m., from Taylor Highway milepost 97 to Eagle.

The rain on the Taylor Highway caused new rock slides that have blocked the road.

At this time, the Taylor Highway is still open to Chicken, the Top of the World Highway (milepost 95) and the Canadian border.

Convoys are scheduled to resume Monday morning, weather dependent.
