National Safety Council recognizes 57 NMS business locations with Occupational Excellence Achievement Awards
For Immediate Release
For the second year in a row, Alaskan owned NANA Management Services, LLC (NMS) was recognized for its safety excellence. The National Safety Council (NSC) awarded Occupational Excellence Awards to 57 NMS business locations throughout Alaska. The NSC selected the winners from NSC members evaluated on 2009 performance, based on lowest total accident/incidence rates and employee work hours.
“NMS is pleased to be recognized for our continued efforts to keep our employees, clients and customers safe,” says Craig Clemens, Vice President of Health, Safety, Security and Environment at NMS. “We will continue to seek out new ways to keep safety at the forefront of our operations. We view safety as a continual process and strive for a zero-incident safety record.” The business units recognized for their occupational excellence are in locations ranging from the North Slope to Southeast Alaska, including NMS headquarters in Anchorage. NMS is Alaska’s sixth largest private employer, with over 2,500 employees.
