Changes to the RFA for Round IV Renewable Energy Fund GrantREQUEST FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS (RFA) AEA 11-005
RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND GRANT PROGRAM
Per Section 1.11 'Modifications of the RFA' the following changes are made to the current RFA for Round IV of the Renewable Energy Fund:
At the Stage 2 Review process ('Project Feasibility and Benefits') explanation on Pages 22 - 24 of the RFA, the last four paragraphs are modified as follows:
"Per 3AAC 107.645 (b) If an application includes a request for a design or construction project funding and is incomplete to the point that an economic and/or technical feasibility evaluation cannot be completed, or there is no indication of a feasible financing plan that will provide for project funding through completion of construction, the application will not be recommended for construction funding." considered for Stage 3 review.
Delete the following paragraphs
"For feasibility and reconnaissance projects, the benefit/cost ratio estimate must be at least a 0.6; otherwise the project will not be recommended for funding and will not be considered for Stage 3 review.
For design and construction projects, the benefit/cost ratio estimate must be at least a 0.8; otherwise the project will not be recommended for funding and will not be considered for Stage 3 review.
If an applicant has requested funding for multiple phases of work and the benefit/cost ratio is between 0.6 and 0.8, the Authority may recommend a portion of funds be made available to the applicant for reconnaissance or feasibility studies."
