Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Announces New Director of Communications
ASRC is pleased to announce the addition of Ty Hardt as its new Director of Communications. Ty most recently served as News Director, Anchor and Producer for ABC Alaska News, a position he held for nearly 11 years. He has more than 20 years of experience reporting in Alaska, sharing stories on a wide variety of issues ranging from the Alaska State Legislature to live coverage of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Besides winning numerous local awards for his reporting, in 2001, Ty was awarded an Emmy from the Academy of Arts & Sciences for his documentary on a climb of Denali's West Buttress.
In his new role, he will serve as the corporation's media spokesperson and will be the point of contact for all media-related issues.
