Alaska State Chamber Welcome New Staff
Shelly Tammen has joined the staff at the Alaska State Chamber as the Administrative Accountant. As Administrative Accountant, Shelly has full responsibility for all accounting, database and operational issues for the State Chamber. Shelly joins staff in the Juneau offices having moved to Juneau from Anchorage in July of this year.Shelly has Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Business Administration and Management from AlaskaPacificUniversity. She also received certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council. Prior to coming to the State Chamber Shelly worked in commercial lending for six years, was a logger for two years, and was a paralegal for over 20 years. She has two sons and two grandchildren in Colorado. Shelly loves to fish and hunt, and enjoys beading, skin sewing and traveling.
