Providence Recognizes National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Children's Hospital at Providence is recognizing September as childhood cancer awareness month. A candle lighting ceremony of remembrance will be held to memorialize the lives of children who have lost the battle with childhood cancer and to celebrate those who are fighting and have beaten this disease. Mayor Dan Sullivan will also present a proclamation from the Municipality of Anchorage in honor of childhood cancer awareness month.
