Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Lu Young

A service memorializing the life of Lu Young will be held in Fairbanks, Alaska this coming Friday, August 14, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. AKDT.  This service is being sponsored by the Doyon Corporation, the Tanana Chiefs Conference, the Fairbanks Native Association, and the Interior Regional Housing Authority.  A Potlatch will follow immediately after at Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall, where Lu will be honored like a traditional chief.  All are invited to attend.
