Gracewriting Seminars: Fairbanks and Anchorage

Join SMPS Alaska Chapter and Graceworks for a 2-hour writing coaching extended luncheon on Tuesday, April 15 in Fairbanks or a full-day workshop of writing training and coaching with Jen Hebblethwaite on Wednesday, April 16th in Anchorage. Sign up today!

Wimpy writing just doesn't get results! Gracewriting® teaches you to write with power by being clear, concise and correct. We help you write with grace by putting your reader's needs first.

Our workshop involves a lot more than putting pen to paper. We play games. We compete. We make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! What does that have to do with better writing? Everything! Be ready to be big and bold as you experience Gracewriting®.

Gracewriting® does more than offer just business or technical writing basics. In the Graceworks' tradition, we help you help your reader by looking at things from the other person's point of view, emphasizing what the other person wants to know, and respecting the other person's intelligence. Let's make a human connection by becoming reader-friendly writers!

During this boot camp session you will learn how Photoshop can most effectively fit into your photography workflow, as well as core concepts for photo manipulations that A/E/C marketers use most often.

Specifically, you will discover how to:

  • Process photos with non-destructive editing techniques
  • Work effectively with layers
  • Pinpoint photo manipulations with advanced selection and masking techniques
  • Use masks and layers in combination to localize color and contrast correction
  • Accurately knockout complex subjects
  • Replace backgrounds
  • Retouch minor skin imperfections in portraits

All attendees will receive a cheat-sheet of tips and tricks to use as reference back in the office.
