Established Process Generates Support

Louisiana Republican Sen. David Vitter, ranking member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, and others continue to question the Environmental Protection Agency’s claim that they possess the authority to preemptively veto the Pebble Mine under the Clean Water Act (CWA).  Many support allowing the normal CWA process to determine whether the project should move forward based on the application.  Read more…

 

Expensive EPA Actions Questioned

In a Daily Caller article, reporter Michael Bastasch outlines some of the challenges that may arise during confirmation hearings for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) nominee Gina McCarthy. In his report, Bastasch compares the EPA’s draft Bristol Bay Watershed Assessment (DBBWA) expenditures, funded by taxpayers, to the lavish General Services Administration Las Vegas trip.
