Comments Invited on Proposed Changes to Federal Subsistence Regulations for the Harvest of Fish and Shellfish
The Federal Subsistence Board is accepting written comments, through June 15, 2012, on proposed changes to Federal subsistence regulations for the harvest of fish and shellfish on Federal public lands. These proposed changes would affect Federal subsistence seasons, harvest limits, and methods for the taking of fish for the regulatory years April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2015. The proposal book is available on the Federal Subsistence Management Program’s website at http://alaska.fws.gov/asm/public.cfml. Printed copies will be available the first week of May. You may request a printed copy by contacting the Office of Subsistence Management at 800-478-1456 or (907) 786-3888. Comments on a proposal should reference the proposal number and should be sent by e-mail to subsistence@fws.gov. In addition, testimony may be given at the Federal Subsistence Board meeting in January 2013 in Anchorage.
