Rep. Young Votes To Prevent Funding Of ObamaCareWashington, DC - Alaskan Congressman Don Young voted yes today on H.Con.Res 35 which makes a correction in the enrollment of H.R. 1473, to prevent the funding of ObamaCare.
"I have said repeatedly, that this health care bill is the single worst piece of legislation I have seen in almost four decades in Congress," said Rep. Young. "While the need for health care reform is real, I will vote every time to repeal the funding for this bill. It does not include the three major components needed for real reform: accessibility, portability, and affordability. Instead it doles out insurance without access, more taxes and mandates, and serves as a vehicle for thousands upon thousands of regulations. We need to start with a clean slate and open minds, and work on crafting reform that will be the solution, not the problem."
