McLaughlin Youth Center Dedicates New 25-Bed Detention Unit April 8
ANCHORAGE — Please join Department of Health and Social Services Deputy Commissioner Pat Hefley, Director of Juvenile Justice Barbara Henjum, Superintendent Dean Williams, and the staff of McLaughlin Youth Center in the dedication ceremony for the grand opening of the new 25-bed detention unit April 8.
The new detention unit will be replacing McLaughlin’s oldest unit, which was built in 1968. With the new addition, McLaughlin will be able to maintain progressive and highly successful programs for the youth of our state.
