CALGARY, Alberta - April 19, 2010 -TransCanada Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) 2010 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 beginning at 10 a.m. (MDT) / 12 p.m. (EDT) at the Roundup Centre in Calgary, Alberta.
