Remember the Ice and Other Paradigm Shifts
The Alaska chapter of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) invites you to the May 2010 meeting at Providence Health Park’s Media Center on the 2nd floor.
This month’s feature will be “Remember the Ice” presented by Bob Nicoll. Bob is a sought-after international speaker/trainer/life coach who has presented to a wide variety of companies and organizations. Bob is an Alaska-based speaker and author residing in Eagle River, Alaska. Since 1991, he has honed his articulation skills and developed an innovative program in positive communication. In October 2008, his book was released and has been received on a global scale, with copies in 28 countries.
Remember the Ice and Other Paradigm Shifts is an easy to learn, yet comprehensive empowering word choice program that teaches you to enhance your communication skills with family, friends, clients, co-workers, registrants in your training groups — anyone who is important to you. It helps you stay focused on your task and accomplish your goals because you are conveying your message, and articulating your thoughts in a clear, precise manner. You eliminate confusion and gain confidence in your message and ultimately attract more of what you want.Join us May 12, 2010, from 11:30 – 1:30. Everyone is welcome. Nonmembers contribute $10; ASTD members attend free. There will be time for mingling and networking, so bring your business cards!
