Apprenticeship Conference April 28 at Egan Center

The one-day conference will provide information about this national training system that can increase productivity and improve the quality of the workforce. Registered apprenticeship combines paid learning on-the-job and related technical instruction in a skilled occupation.
Nationally recognized speaker, author and teacher Sharon Bowman will present an afternoon workshop on "What's the Brain Got to Do with It? Brain Science and Effective Apprenticeship."
The conference is for employers interested in apprenticeship, sponsors of a registered program, policymakers, trade associations, for-profit and non-profit leaders, and educators.
