UIC Construction names Clayton Arterburn as General Manager

UIC Design, Plan, Build (UIC DPB) announced Clayton Arterburn has been named UIC Construction’s (UICC) General Manager. UIC DPB is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska and is a subsidiary of Ukpeagvik Iñupiat Corporation. UIC DPB is a vertically integrated team of companies that provide a full spectrum of professional services and construction disciplines specializing in remote construction in Arctic and subarctic Alaska and across the country. UIC Construction, LLC offers integrated design-bid-build solutions, innovative project management systems and has successfully completed more than $1 billion of construction throughout remote Alaska and other locations abroad. A life-long resident of Willow, Alaska, Mr. Arterburn holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Central Washington University. Prior to being appointed General Manager he has worked for UICC for nine years, most recently as a Senior Project Manager. With over 23 years of construction industry experience, he began in the field working his way through college as a laborer, operator and carpenter. His portfolio includes large-scale civil, residential, commercial, marine, and industrial projects. As General Manager he is responsible for the oversight and planning of the organization and supervision of all project staff and will maintain organization levels for productivity, quality, safety, and client value. As General Manager he will also review project management systems and provide constructability analysis using his extensive construction managerial knowledge, making him an important member of the UIC Design, Plan, Build team.
