Tyonek Awarded $37M Contract Supporting Naval Air Systems Command
MADISON, Ala., April. 5, 2017 – Tyonek Worldwide Services, LLC (TWS), a subsidiary of Tyonek Services Group, Inc. (TSG) and Tyonek Native Corporation (TNC), has been awarded a contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) to provide installation and depot level aviation maintenance services at Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic Detachment Patuxent River, Maryland (FRCMA DET PAX). The work will provide direct support primarily to squadrons and activities assigned to Naval Test Wing Atlantic and Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Tyonek will have responsibility for Naval aviation test, restoration rebuild, maintenance, and repair in support of the maintenance requirements and priorities to meet the Navy’s aircraft fleet readiness mission. In addition, TWS will ensure uninterrupted support for level II and level III aircraft maintenance and administrative support on aircraft components, engines, and support equipment.
