The Tatitlek Corporation Announces Promotion of Dean Clowers to President


Anchorage, AK, December 22, 2016:  The Tatitlek Corporation today announced the promotion of Dean Clowers to the role of President following the resignation of Martin Hanofee.

Following appointment of Mr. Clowers by the Board of Directors, CEO Roy Totemoff stated “We are extremely pleased that Dean Clowers will assume the role of President. As Senior VP of Operations, Dean has been invaluable in our stabilization and growth over the past 18 months. Dean is a strong manager with a solid track record of developing teams and improving business results. At the same time, we are grateful to Martin Hanofee for his contributions over the last 8 years and wish him the best in his new position.”

Dean Clowers is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of industry experience with the Company and other Alaska Native Corporations, specializing in government services and construction operations. Prior to joining The Tatitlek Corporation in 2015, Dean served as Afognak Native Corporation and Alutiiq, LLC’s Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Afognak in 2005, Dean was the Senior Vice President of Operations for Chugach Alaska Corporation.

Martin Hanofee is leaving the Company to take a position in the Washington DC area. He will continue with the Company through mid-January to ensure a smooth transition.
