Fall Festival at ANHC

Anchorage- The Alaska Native Heritage Center is excited to announce that we are hosting our first annual Fall Festival with free admission all day. The Fall Festival will be on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 12pm – 8pm with family activities all day. Featured on the Gathering Place stage will be various Alaska Native dance groups, such as the Alaska Native Heritage Center dancers, as well as local Alaska Native band, the Premium Blend Band.

Other activities at the Heritage Center will include the first ever Trick-or-Treating around the village sites, the first ever haunted village site, a costume contest at 4pm with various categories, face painting, spooky stories with a traditional twist, kids pumpkin decorating, Farmer’s Market food and craft vendors, food trucks, Alaska Native vendors and more. These activities are all free and open to the public. The complete schedule will be available online as the time nears at www.alaskanative.net as well as on our Facebook event page. The Fall Festival at the Alaska Native Heritage Center is made possible with funding support by Target.
