Calista Corporation Welcomes Alice Crow and Cody Troseth
Duo Will Lead New Shareholder Enrollment
(Anchorage, Alaska) – Monica James, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and June McAtee, Vice President of Land and Shareholder Services, are pleased to announce that Alice Crow and Cody Troseth have joined the Calista team to lead the new Shareholder enrollment effort. As Shareholder Enrollment Director, Alice Crow will work with ANCSA Stock Enrollment Project Manager Cody Troseth to develop and implement a program to enroll Descendants of original Shareholders and people who were eligible to enroll as Calista Shareholders on December 18, 1971, but did not. Alice will serve as a liaison and utilize collaboration, public relations and media coverage related to the expanded Shareholder program and will team with Cody to create and deliver an appropriate multi-channel communication plan. They will also design a plan for a Shareholder services program in Bethel and Anchorage, to include ongoing enrollment, Shareholder relations, proxy management, dividend processing and Shareholder benefits.
Alice Maar’aq Crow was born to, JB and Lucy Crow. An original Shareholder of Calista and Bethel Native Corporations, Maar’aq is also a member of the Orutsararmiut Native Council. Her experience includes work with small, rural and urban Alaska businesses and multinational companies, as well as with regional and statewide Tribal-focused entities. Alice graduated from Bethel High School and holds an MBA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and an MFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Cody Troseth was born to Roy and Julane Troseth. Cody is a Descendant and Shareholder of Calista Corporation. Cody has experience in project management, including the construction and energy sectors. Most recently, Cody worked on the Shell Alaska Exploration project in the Chukchi Sea. His grandmother, Rosanna (Sis Laraux) Troseth, is a known author, whose works include her popular biography “Our Side of the River.” Cody has a B.S. in mathematics and an M.S. in project management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
